  • Autumn 1 2020

This term we have been learning about the seaside. We have looked at the adventures of Barnaby Bear and have written in the genre of postcards. We have researched Victorian seaside holidays and compared these with our own. Using our maps and Atlases we have located the United Kingdom and learnt our continents. We have also learnt the countries that make up the UK and their Capital cities. Together we have located seaside locations in the UK and looked at the geographical features.

Within Art the classes have studied Monet and tried to replicate his work in drawings and watercolours. We enjoyed watching Punch and Judy and created our own puppet theatres too.

  • Punch & Judy

  • Morning Fitness

  • Snow day

The children at school enjoyed having fun in the snow!

  • World Book Day

The key worker children enjoyed lots of book related tasks.  We all enjoyed dressing up as our favourite characters
