Class Information

  • Reading books are changed when your child has completed their book. (Please remember to sign their reading record and ask them questions about their book to show that they understand what they have read). Reading books need to be in school every day.
  • Spellings, Literacy and Maths homework are given out on Fridays
  • PE - outdoor on Wednesday and indoor Friday.
  • Autumn Term

    This term, as part of our WWII theme, Year 4 have done some coding, learnt about life as an evacuee and written a Blitz diary. We had great fun with our string telephones and learning body percussion in Music. The children have enjoyed acquiring tag rugby skills and doing a cross country run. Swimming has been a great success! In Art they have created WWII propaganda posters and Blitz pictures.

    Well done to all the fabulous bakers in Year 4!

  • Healthy Hearts and Minds day in school

    We had great fun in school making Couscous salad, making our stars and playing basket ball.

  • Egyptian Day

    Year 4 had a great day dressing up as Egyptians, making clay beetles, a Senet game, a pyramid, painting a neck collar and learning Egyptian maths.  In the afternoon we had an Egyptian style banquet with a pharaoh and queen.
